The Olpe Eagles held a 14-0 lead in the first quarter at Centralia on Friday night, but the Panthers were too much in a 40-26 victory.
Dexton Hoelting gave Olpe an early 7-0 lead with a 1-yard touchdown and extended it to 14-0 on a 2-yard pass from Hoelting to Abbott Bailey. Centralia then scored 32 straight before Olpe got on the scoreboard with 8:20 left in the fourth on a 6-yard touchdown from Hoelting to Colton Redeker . Hoelting connecting with Brayden Lienemann for a 2-yard score making it 40-26.
Olpe finishes its season with a 7-3 record.
