Families and parents seeking meningitis vaccines through CareArc will have to wait for a short time now.
According to a news release from CareArc Tuesday, the agency is experiencing a temporary shortage of the vaccine that is required for school attendance. CareArc says more vaccines have been ordered from the state, however, shipments have been delayed.
CareArc Community Health Manager Melissa Smith says “We encourage families to stay in touch with us, and we will notify them immediately once the vaccine arrives.”
