Residents wanting a chance to run through Good’s Cash Saver later this month as part of the Emporia Rotary Club’s biggest fundraiser of the year are running out of time.
Grocery Grab is Nov. 23, and the deadline to obtain tickets for the raffle event is the close of business Tuesday. Cost is $10 a ticket, regardless of how many tickets are purchased.
Six semi-finalists will be drawn Saturday. They will gather at Good’s before 7 am Nov. 23. The lucky winner will get five minutes to select as many items as possible from approved sections of the store, while the other semi-finalists get a $50 gift certificate from Good’s.
Proceeds benefit Bloom House Youth Services.
