Extradition proceedings for a Hartford man facing charges in Missouri have been dismissed in Lyon County.
27-year-old Devon Kinzle appeared before Judge Douglas Jones for the hearing Wednesday at which time the extradition proceedings were ended as Lyon County did not receive necessary paperwork in time. Kinzle was arrested in Lyon County back in September and was facing second-degree statutory rape, possession of child pornography and furnishing or trying to furnish pornographic material to a minor charges in Missouri.
Missouri court records have Kinzle charged with those counts last September in Jasper County. Charges say the victim was under 17 years old at the time of the alleged incidents.
Word on how the dismissal of the extradition in Lyon County will affect proceedings in Missouri is unclear.
