A mediation conference and plea hearing are scheduled on consecutive days for an Emporia man charged with a fatal crash in Johnson County from this past spring.
Johnson County District Court has a mediation conference Dec 10 and a plea hearing Dec 11 in the criminal case against Jason Eli Brumley, who was originally charged with involuntary manslaughter-driving under the influence after he allegedly crashed into another vehicle near Interstate 35 and Sunflower Road. Last month, prosecutors added two counts of aggravated battery in the case.
One person was killed in the wreck and two others were critically hurt.
