Residents in an east Emporia neighborhood will see traffic blocked for around two weeks.
Starting Monday, crews will close Whittier Street just south of East 11th. The reason is a storm sewer replacement.
The city says 11th will be open to traffic through the project. Residents can also get to properties in the 900 and 1000 blocks of Whittier, as well as Whittier Place Lane, by using Ninth.
