The Flint Hills League announced its All-League 11-Man football teams on Monday with two area schools being represented.
First team offensive selections include Osage City’s Kasen Parsons, a unanimous selection at quarterback. Council Grove’s Ace Monihen is a unanimous selection at running back and is joined by Osage City’s Dylan Theel. Osage City’s Quenten Stark was selected as a unanimous selection as a wide receiver. Council Grove’s Landon Dody and Osage City’s Tate Smith are also first-team selections at receiver. Osage City’s Zach Green and Noah Martinez and Council Grove’s AJ Rocha were selected on the offensive line.
First team defensive selections include Council Grove’s Holden Ziegler, a unanimous selection on the defensive line and is joined by Martinez and Monihen. Dody and Osage City’s Austin Lamb were selected as linebackers. At defensive back, selections include Council Grove’s Hayden Buttrey and Blaise French and Osage City’s Ryon Farwell. Parsons is a unanimous pick at punter. Osage City’s Hawk Shopteese is a unanimous selection at kicker. Teel was selected as a special teams player.
