Two standout athletes at Lebo signed to continue their athletic careers collegiately on Monday.
Caleb Durst signed with Division II Missouri S&T in Rolla, Missouri for cross country and track and field. Durst is a two-time state champion in Class 1A in cross country, claiming state championships in 2023 and 2024. Durst also claimed a regional championship and the Lyon County League championship this past fall. Last spring, Durst was the Class 1A 1,600-meter run state champion, while also finishing seventh in the 1A 800-meter run and fourth in the 1A 3,200m. Durst also plays basketball for Lebo.
Saige Hadley signed to continue her volleyball career at Barton Community College in Great Bend. Hadley guided Lebo to two state championships and two state runner-ups in 1A-Division II the past four seasons. Hadley is a 2-time recipient of the 1A-Division II Player of the Year from the Kansas Volleyball Association. Hadley also participates in basketball and softball at Lebo.
