Emergency operations are likely to lead the Lyon County Commission’s action meeting Wednesday.
Commissioners will consider a request from Emergency Management Director Jarrod Fell to officially declare the county’s Emergency Operations Plan. That agenda item will be followed by a pair of payment requests from Emergency Communications Director Roxanne Van Gundy, one totaling over $3,000 as an annual document software payment to Frontline PS Solutions and one totaling almost $4,700 to ErgoGensis for three heavy-duty dispatch chairs for Lyon County’s 911 Center. The software payment is through county funds, while the chair payment is through 911-levied funds.
In other business, County Counselor Molly Priest and County Controller Dan Williams will present a tax rebate agreement for Camso. Besides commissioner and staff reports, four executive sessions are planned — three for non-elected personnel and one for legal matters.
The meeting is at 9 am the the County Courthouse Commission Chambers. Typically, the Commission has its action sessions on Thursday mornings, but the Commission always moves the Thanksgiving-week meeting to the Wednesday immediately before the holiday.
