Horyna Named MIAA Player of the Week

Graduate guard Katie Horyna has been named the MIAA Player of the Week after averaging 25 points per game for the Lady Hornets last week.  She shot 61% from the field and grabbed nearly 10 rebounds per game while averaging six assists per game as the Lady Hornets went 1-1 last week.  Horyna is fourth in the MIAA in scoring and third in the league in assists.  ESU opens up MIAA play on Thursday when they host #15 Northwest Missouri.  Doubleheader coverage begins at 5:00 p.m. on the Hornet Sports Network/Mix 104.9.
