No charges are coming in the case of Brad Marcotte.
Special Prosecutor Jack Hobbs says there is insufficient evidence to get convictions after Marcotte was arrested by Lyndon Police on suspicion of child endangerment and interference with law enforcement.
Marcotte was arrested after allegedly driving a school bus after consuming alcohol. USD 421 board members then voted to terminate Marcotte’s employment and brought on longtime school administrator Paul Dorathy as interim superintendent.
Marcotte and USD 421 were working to schedule an appeal hearing date at last check. Word is pending on whether a date has been confirmed.
