Infrastructure payments, IT bids and renewals are all just a part of a busy action agenda for Lyon County Commissioners Thursday morning.
During their regular meeting, commissioners will consider approving a payment of $250,000 to the City of Emporia for infrastructure related to the QuikTrip project. Lyon County Facilities Director Robbie Weiss will submit an IT generator bid for commission approval before Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods makes two requests, the first for approval of a $251,000 quote for the 2025 annual bridge inspection and the other to send requests for proposals for a covered truck parking building at the county Highway Department.
Public Relations Manager Vici Smith will seek approval of the renewal of Archive Social, the county’s social media archiving subscription for the coming year and Tobey Kelly will seek approval to pay TCS Upfitting for the installation of equipment on Sheriff’s Office vehicles.
An update on Empower House ministries from Executive Director Melissa Landis and two executive sessions are also planned. The meeting will begin at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
