An Emporia woman facing drug distribution charges in two cases will have her court proceedings delayed in at least one of the cases.
Anissa Gardner-Lagg was set for a preliminary hearing Tuesday, but that was continued to Jan. 28 after Gardner-Lagg was recently granted a furlough to attend inpatient treatment in Sedan.
Gardner-Lagg was charged with distributing up to 100 grams of methamphetamine, as well as possessing drug paraphernalia, after an alleged incident in mid-October.
Gardner-Lagg also has a separate criminal case in Lyon County revolving around drug distribution — less than 100 grams — and aggravated child endangerment stemming from an alleged incident in early August. She has a preliminary hearing in that case set for Dec. 17, but that could also be delayed due to the furlough and related inpatient treatment.
