Osage City Indians utilized a 16-0 run in the first quarter, to open up a lead they would not relinquish in a 55-42 victory over Chase County in the girls contest.
Freshman Kaelyn Boss wasted no time to make an impact in her first game, leading the Indians with 24 points off the bench.
Emory Speece added 13 points, and facilitated the offense to the victory.
Chase County was led in scoring by Madelyn Wilson with 29.
The second game of our broadcast was an all-time classic with Chase County withstanding Osage City 90-87 in overtime. Both teams have now played extra quarters for three straight years, with 4/5 last matchups being decided by one possession.
