Thick fog has blanketed the KVOE listening area.
As a result, the National Weather Service has a dense fog advisory posted for all area counties until 10 am. Visibility has been anywhere from a third of a mile to half a mile in Emporia, and the Weather Service says visibility may well be half a mile at best until the fog dissipates.
If you are driving through fog, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. KVOE and KVOE.com will have updates through the morning.
