The town of Allen will be busy Friday evening for its Hometown Christmas.
Organizer Janet Bathurst credited members of the Allen Methodist Church for the overall idea.
Activities go from 5-7 along Allen’s Main Street, including food while supplies last, hot drinks, snacks and crafts. There will also be a number of vendors. The lighting of the Christmas tree is at 6 pm. Organizer Lisa Keith:
Hometown Christmas is also being held to coincide with two holiday open houses, one at Highline Telephone and another at the North Lyon County Library.
