Back in May, Chad “The Breadman” DeCrow opened up Breadman’s Bakery at 509 Commercial. Now the business storefront is closing.
DeCrow and co-owner Slyvaine Cooper say there are concerns about the building’s structural integrity, as well as “unforeseen financial challenges,” that led to the devision posted on social media Tuesday. Both say they are “exploring new ways to continue bringing our products to you.”
The storefront closes Jan. 6.
Breadman’s Bakery filled the space occupied for six years by Vault Meats and Cheeses before the charcuterie business closed this past spring.
