A person arrested in Greenwood County on suspicion of distributing child sex abuse materials this past summer is awaiting sentencing in federal court.
Terry Trower’s case involving counts of receipt, possession and distribution is being handled through Texas Southern District Court. Trower eventually pleaded guilty to the distribution count in September before motions to extend response times to the pre-sentence report and a defense objection to said report. No sentencing date is listed on the federal Public Access to Court Electronics Records website.
Trower faces between five and 20 years in federal prison, as well as a fine of at least $250,000 and mandatory restitution.
