A car driver was cited after an injury crash involving a bicyclist Tuesday morning.
The wreck happened at Fourth and Neosho aroun 8:40 am. Emporia Police Capt. Ray Mattas says 38-year-old Shawn Wade was westbound, driving an e-bike on Fourth, while a car driven by 62-year-old Maria Dikin was southbound on Neosho. Mattas says Dikin didn’t stop at the intersection and hit Wade.
Dikin was cited for failure to yield. Wade was treated at the scene by Emporia Fire/EMS and taken to his home by Emporia Police.
