A Wabaunsee County teenager suffered possibly serious injuries after a crash Wednesday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol was among the responders to the wreck on Mission Valley Road near Bradford Road shortly before 3:45 pm. Troopers say 15-year-old Corbi Tenpenny of Eskridge was driving a pickup westbound when the truck went off the highway. Tenpenny overcorrected, going across the road into a ditch. The truck rolled several times.
Tenpenny was taken to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City, Missouri. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.
