The Emporia State football team continues to reel in postseason honors. Consensus First Team All-American Tyler Kahmann adds a first team nod from the Don Hansen football committee. Offensive lineman Sherman Deaton and cornerback Jaaron Joseph received honorable mention honors. Kahmann is the Hornet career leader in every major statistical receiving category for ESU. It is the second-straight year that Deaton has been honored as a Hansen All-American and it is the second All-American award of the season for Joseph. The Hanson teams are named for Don Hansen who published his weekly football Gazette for decades and began naming Division II All-Americans in 1988.
