Over $2,400 is going to help children served by SOS as part of the annual Kari’s Christmas Ring for Kids fundraiser.
The fundraiser let people donate suggested amounts of $5 per chance or $20 for five chances — all to win a 14-karat white gold diamond and lab-generated ruby ring set with 0.75-carat-weight in diamonds and a 7×5-mm emerald-cut center stone valued at almost $5,900.
Americus resident Matt Horton won the ring and promptly gave it to his wife, Stacie.
SOS Executive Director Mickey Edwards appreciates the longstanding partnership between her organization and Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal.
Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal staffer Kathy Zwolenski says the staff is passionate about this fundraiser.
KVOE General Manager Ron Thomas was pleased to be part of this holiday tradition.
