The Kansas City Chiefs played perhaps their most complete game of the season winning over the Steelers in Pittsburgh with a 29-10 victory on Christmas Day. KC moves to 15-1 on the season and locks up the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC with the victory while Pittsburgh falls to 11-5 and loses control of the AFC North race. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes finished 29-for-38 for 320 yards and three touchdowns and led the Chiefs to a 13-0 lead in the first quarter. Travis Kelce caught eight passes for 84 yards and a touchdown, his 77th with the club to become the franchise leader in receiving scores. Kelce also became the 15th NFL player to reach 1,000 career receptions in the game and just the third tight end. KC plays their regular season finale at Denver Sunday, January 5, 2025 to end the regular season. Kickoff times for Week 17 will be announced by the NFL after the conclusion of Week 17’s games.
