Tourism and trade efforts in Council Grove are adjusting.
Council Grove’s Area Trade & Tourism Association is ending its operations New Year’s Eve. In its place will be the recently-esstablished Council Grove Convention & Visitors Bureau, which is using the name Destination: Council Grove.
Destination is focusing on creating and hosting events. It also plans to focus on community pride while developing the history, culture, business community and natural surroundings of the Council Grove area.
