The Emporia Public Library will be ringing in the new year a bit earlier than most Tuesday.
The library will be hosting its Noon-Year’s Eve Party starting at 11:30 am inside the library. Library Director Pauline Stacchini, a recent guest of KVOE’s Morning Show, says the event will include a host of activities for all ages to enjoy.
Stacchini says the event is catered for families with young children and individuals who may not be able to stay up until midnight to ring in the new year. The party is open to the community free of charge with no reservations needed.
