Work officially begins Jan. 13 in both the House and Senate. Also, Governor Laura Kelly will have her State of the State Address at 6:30 pm Jan. 15. The governor typically spends 30-45 minutes outlining accomplishments of the past year and discusses goals, either broad or targeted, for the upcoming session.
KVOE and KVOE.com will have updates on issues throughout the session, as well as frequent conversations with lawmakers representing Lyon County — including new 17th District Senator Mike Argabright, returning 60th District Representative Mark Schreiber, returning 13th District Representative Duane Droge and new 76th District Representative Brad Barrett.
