An Arizona man was arrested on New Year’s Eve in Osage County on suspected drug activity.
Sheriff Chris Wells says an unspecified traffic violation led to a vehicle stop at Interstate 35 mile marker 162, or the Waverly exit, shortly before 1:30 pm Tuesday. Wells says illegal narcotics were found during the search, which was aided by the Sheriff’s Office K-9.
Deputies arrested 47-year-old Jeremy Luce on suspicion of distributing methamphetamine, possessing drug paraphernalia and illegal vehicle registration. The amount of alleged drugs was not released.
Formal charges are pending.
