Newman Regional Health is starting a new era with a brand-new obstetrics and gynecology team, although everybody on that team is known to the community.
Doctors Deshala Castile and Christina Faulkner have come over from Cotton O’Neil, as have their nurses — including Ann Jacob and Val Raygoza, who joined KVOE’s Newsmaker 2 segment Tuesday. Jacob says there is a range of services available.
Raygoza says the level of care at Newman Regional OB/GYN is important to staffers because they deal with the same medical issues as their patients.
Women’s Life Center Director Bobby Johnson says onboarding the OB/GYN clinic and staff has gone well, meaning benefits for patients.
Despite the change in affiliation, the office location remains the same at 1301 West 12th Suite 104. Scheduling and questions can be handled by calling 620-343-2376.
This announcement means a change in location for Newman Regional Health’s Specialty Clinic. That is moving into a renovated space accessible by either Entrance C, the hospital’s main entry, or Entrance F on the east side of the hospital.
