Attempted murder charges have been filed in a Wabaunsee County criminal case.
Kirsten Renee Freeman, age 37, faces two counts of attempted second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing two women with a knife on or about Dec. 27. Freeman also faces two counts of aggravated battery and a count of mistreating a dependent adult.
Wabaunsee County deputies have not offered additional details about this case.
Freeman had a first court appearance Dec. 30 and will have a status conference this upcoming Tuesday.
