Over a month after fire destroyed a house in Olpe, the investigation continues into exactly what happened and why.
Office of the Kansas State Fire Marshal Public Information Manager Lance Feyh says the special agent overseeing the case is still interviewing potential witnesses to the fire at 730 Kansas Highway 99.
Fire developed Nov. 30 and quickly engulfed the over 3,000-square-foot home. The owner, Suzan Stroup-Reed, was out of town when the fire started.
The fire’s cause and origination point have not been listed as the investigation continues.
