The Emporia High boys wrestling team finished 30th at the Newton Tournament of Champions which wrapped up on Saturday. Entering wrestling on Saturday, the Spartans had five wrestlers still alive. Three wrestlers made it as far as the fourth round of the consolation bracket, Dustin Dobson at 150, Christian Trujillo at 157 and Jose Vargas at 285. Emporia High will host its winter duals tournament on Saturday at 9 a.m. at EHS.
