Residents are encouraged to attend Beacon for Hope Suicide Prevention’s fourth annual Unmasking Suicide Masquerade Ball this upcoming Saturday.
As has been the case throughout the event’s brief history, a formal unmasking is a key component of the activities and will happen about midway through the event. Here’s Beacon Director Melissa Owen:
The Unmasking Suicide Masquerade Ball is from 5-9 pm Saturday at the Emporia Granada Theatre. Activities will include door prizes, a silent auction, food from Las Catrinas and a chance to add dance songs to the event’s Spotify playlist. Cost is $30 for individuals and $50 for couples.
