Promising an era of success for America, Donald Trump says he has broad support to take the country in a different direction than his predecessor, Joe Biden.
Trump says it’s “time to act with courage, vigor and the vitality of history’s greatest civilization.”
Trump issued almost 80 executive orders on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to the following:
*Declared a national emergency at the US-Mexico border
*Ended what’s known as birthright citizenship, meaning America will no longer recognize citizenship of children born in the country to immigrants with no legal status
*Delayed enforcement of the federal TikTok ban so a buyer can be found for the Chinese app
*Declared clemency for the Jan. 6 defendants.
*Officially recognized two sexes as defined by reproduction cells at conception
*Withdrew the US from the Paris climate accord and World Health Organization as part of separate executive orders *Started a 90-day halt in US foreign development aid
*Started a process to rename the Gulf of Mexico as Gulf of America and revert Mount Denali’s name to Mount McKinley.
*Issued an order to bar censorship of constitutionally protected speech by the federal government.
