Monday, Ohio State was celebrating a national championship and Wednesday afternoon Emporian Charla Adams had her chance to celebrate as well.
Adams was the winner of the annual KVOE Bowl Challenge amassing a total of 87 points. For winning the challenge, Adams took home a $500 Waters gift card courtesy of Waters Hardware.
Adams chose Ohio State to win the national championship saying she couldn’t the Buckeyes off her mind.
Adams’ husband Larry Adams and Lee Allison tied for second place with 81 points each and both took home a $250 gift card. New Waters Manager Nick Windle says watching the challenge unfold is always a fun experience.
Contestants used entry forms available at Gambino’s Pizza, The Liquor Store and Waters to pick the NCAA Division I bowl game winners. Contestants could also earn buzzwords to get bonus points to improve their totals.
