Three Emporia High teams were in action on Wednesday.
In Topeka, the Emporia High Bowling teams competed at West Ridge Lanes. The Spartans finished first with a series of 2,536, 10 pins better than runner-up Seaman. Nate Green finished second with a series of 669. Colton Swift was third with a 645 and Caydrick Crouch was sixth with a 625.
The Lady Spartans finished third with a series of 1,636. Taylor McKay finished seventh with a series of 505.
Emporia High returns to action on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 in the Great Plains Classic in Wichita.
The Emporia High girls wrestling team defeated Wichita Southeast in a dual, 54-24. Emporia High will travel to Olathe South on Saturday.
