Less than a month remains before Emporia State University celebrates its official anniversary of educating students and benefiting the state of Kansas.
Founders Day is Feb. 14. Activities will include a buffet provided by Fresh Ideas, the announcement of the 1863 essay contest winners and a celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the Memorial Union.
ESU is also celebrating 162 years of education next month.
Required registration is $10 and is due by Feb. 5. Residents can email lpitman@emporia.edu if interested.
