When the Kansas City Chiefs play the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, Emporian Nancy Rumold will have a seat of honor inside Arrowhead Stadium.
Recently highlighted on KVOE’s Feel Good Friday for her 30 years of work with Special Olympians, Rumold will spend time in the Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat — and her time coaching in Special Olympics is a key reason why the Chiefs are honoring her this weekend. She initially thought a call from the Chiefs office wasn’t true.
Rumold has been a Chief fan since the late 1970s and a season ticketholder the last 16 years.
The AFC Championship Game starts at 5:20 pm. Country 101.7 FM will have Chiefs pregame and postgame, with the Westwood One game broadcast. Westwood One will also broadcast the game on 14 KVOE and 96.9 FM.
