Waverly started off the 104th Annual Lyon County League Tournament Monday with a bang, upsetting 3-seeded Hartford 53-35 in girls action. Josie Romig led all scorers with 17.
Zach Oswald scored in 18 as Lebo powered past 6th seed Waverly 66-33 in the first boys matchup.
In the 2-7 matchup in the girls bracket, Olpe cruised past Burlingame, winning 57-25. Lilly Skalsky was the top scorer with 20.
Burlingame advanced to the semifinals with a 67-35 victory over Northern Heights behind 24 points from Drake Skirvin.
