The Emporia High wrestling teams hosted duals on Tuesday night.
The Spartans went 0-2 on the night, falling to Salina Central, 58-18, and Basheor-Linwood, 65-10.
The Lady Spartans defeated Salina Central, 58-18. Senior Allison Curtis was one of several seniors to get a win on Senior Night. Curtis won her match by a 16-12 decision and said it was great to get a win at home one last time.
Emporia High also got wins from Sienna Spaulding, Mia Gardner and Alexa Castillo. The Lady Spartans had eight weight classes, and they won via open. Emporia High girls coach Shawn Russell proud of his girls on Senior Night.
Emporia High got wins from Walker Metcalfe, Holden Timmons, Garrett LeBlanc and Jose Vargas against Salina Central. Dustin Dobson and Jackson Goodman picked up wins in the Basehor-Linwood dual.
Emporia High boys coach Brook Medrano was proud of his team for competing even with the scores of the duals not reflecting on their performance.
The Spartans head to Chanute for the SEK Invitational on Saturday, while the Lady Spartans travel to Junction City.
