The Emporia High boys bowling team won the Washburn Rural Invitational on Tuesday. Individually, Colton Swift finished first with a 734, while Morgan Liggett finished second with a 717. The Lady Spartans finished third with a 1,819. Taylor McKay was the top Lady Spartan ninth with a 482. Emporia High heads to Wichita for the Great Plains Classic with the girls bowling on Friday and the boys bowling on Saturday.
