The Emporia State baseball team gave up four runs in the bottom of the eighth to fall 6-2 against Ouachita Baptist in their second game of the HSU Invitational Friday. The Hornets led early thanks to an RBI single by Jovanni Toledo. After giving up two runs in the third, E-State tied the game in the fourth on a two-out hit by Andy Pacheco. Reliever Coby Rogers (1-1) gave up four runs on two hits while hitting two batters with two wild pitches in the eighth inning to take the loss. Trent Warstler scattered six hits in his career-long six-inning start but received a no decision. The Hornets (4-1) return to action Saturday morning to face Southern Arkansas before taking on the host Henderson State to wrap up the event Sunday.
