The Emporia State women’s tennis team swept McPherson 7-0 Tuesday at the Kossover Family Tennis Center in Emporia. ESU’s #1 and #3 doubles teams claimed victory for the doubles point. Giovanna Ferreira won 6-1, 6-2 at #1 singles while Yulia Klimova also claimed a straight-set win at #2 singles. Liz Bizourne, Anatasia Pesic, and Paige Stranghoner also picked up straight-set victories for ESU. E-State returns to action Sunday for a road match at Drury.
