The Emporia State tennis teams swept Drury in a tennis doubleheader on Sunday. The Hornet men defeated the #23 Panthers 4-3 while the Lady Hornets claimed a 5-2 victory. The Hornets picked up the doubles point then got wins at #2 singles from Mostafa Elbasnaly, Alexis Mattenberger won at #6 singles and Diego Calvo clinched the win at #4 singles. The Lady Hornets also picked up the doubles point and swept through #3 through #6 singles for the win. Lilie Bizouerne, Anastasia Pesic, Perla Conde, and Paige Stranghoner all picked up singles wins for the ESU women. The Hornets return to action to host Friends on Friday at 11:00 a.m. while the women have an exhibition on Sunday against Seward County.
