The Emporia State Memorial Union will play host to Emporia Main Street’s largest annual fundraiser Friday night.
Main Street’s annual auction is taking place inside Webb Hall beginning at 5:30 pm with a cocktail hour. The event will, as always, include both a live and silent auction with all proceeds going to support Main Street programs and initiatives over the year.
Main Street Director Casey Woods says with so many opportunities arising for Main Street in recent years, the dollars raised through the auction are becoming more critical than ever before.
Closing out the evening will be a performance by dueling pianos which has been a crowd favorite for many years. Tickets for the auction are still available by calling the Main Street office at 620-340-6430 and cost $55 per person, $300 for a table of 6 and $400 for a table of 8.
