Another hearing has been added to the Lyon County docket in a vehicular murder case.
Adonis Dailey was already set for a trial status hearing March 5 ahead of his tentative trial start date of March 10. Following a motion hearing Thursday, another motion hearing was set for March 7.
Dailey was originally charged with single counts of first-degree murder and flee and elude following a pursuit by Kansas Highway Patrol troopers ended in a crash that killed one man in late April of 2023 near the Emporia tollgate on the Kansas Turnpike. An alternate flee and elude count was added to the list of charges at the request of prosecutors back in late July.
