USD 421 Lyndon is looking to the future with a new superintendent at the helm.
As part of a special meeting Thursday night, the Board of Education finalized the hire of Kimberly Woolf as superintendent. Woolf is currently the superintendent and principal at USD 432 Victoria. This is also the latest chapter in Woolf’s 34-year career in education, evenly split between the classroom and administrative roles.
Board President Bryant Derley says Woolf stood out from the field due to her knowledge of curriculum, instruction and early childhood programs as well as grant-writing experience and work to develop partnerships.
Woolf is also the wife of Dallas Woolf, named last week as USD 386 Madison-Virgil’s new superintendent.
