Two area teams clinched tickets to Sub-State Championships games on Saturday.
Madison jumped out to a 14-0 advantage en route to a 47-32 victory over Goessel, advancing to sub-state championship game.
The first quarter run had Madison leading 15-2 after the first quarter, and 28-14 at halftime.
Goessel would pull within 12 in the second half, but Madison continued to counter each Goessel run.
Madison’s Jalynn Weakley led all scorers with 24 points.
Madison will play undefeated Little River on Friday, in search of their first state tournament appearance since 2012.
Lebo defeated in-district rival Waverly, 54-21. Saige Hadley led Lebo with 19 points. Zoey Hirt had 12 for Waverly. Lebo will play Central Christian on Friday.
