Flint Hills Technical College is gearing up for two major fundraising endeavors over the next month.
During KVOE’s Morning Show Monday, FHTC Events and Outreach Coordinator Stephanie Anderson discussed the second annual Wrangler on the Rocks silent auction, previously known as Inspiring Spirits, coming up next week. Wrangler on the Rocks is a “unique” auction that provides bidders an opportunity to snag a special bottle of liquor all in support of scholarships for FHTC students.
The auction will begin at 6 am next Monday, March 10 and will continue through March 13 at 8 pm. Those interested in placing bids can view the bottles now via FHTC.edu/Wrangler-on-the-rocks.
Wrangler on the Rocks will serve as the unofficial lead in to the college’s annual Gala coming April 25 at 6 pm inside of William L White Auditorium. The theme for this year’s gala will be the Kentucky Derby.
Ahead of the gala, residents are invited to attend the Hats and Hors d ‘ oeuvres event on March 27 from 4-7 pm at the Trusler Conference Center, where they will be able to design their own derby hats. For more information on upcoming events, be sure to visit FHTC.edu.
