Emporia State guards Katie Horyna and Gracie Gilpin have been honored as All-MIAA Honorable Mention following the 2024-25 season. Horyna ranks in the top ten in the MIAA in assists per game, and assist-to-turnover ratio while leading the league in minutes played. She’s the leading scorer for ESU at 14 ppg while scoring in double figures 18 times this year. Gilpin leads the MIAA in 3-pointers attempted and made per game while ranking fifth in 3-point percentage. She’s averaging 12 ppg while shooting 37% from outside the arc. ESU is 10-18 with a 5-14 MIAA record and is the No. 10 seed facing No. 7 seed Central Missouri on Wednesday in the first round of the MIAA Tournament.
