Lyon County Commissioners are in for a brief meeting when they convene for their weekly action session Thursday.
When commissioners meet inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers, they will have just two action items to consider. The first item will be a request from Lyon County Area Transportation Director Shane Brunner, who will seek direction on loaning a county-owned bus to Anderson County at the request of the Kansas Department of Transportation.
The loan will assist Anderson County, which is currently down one vehicle. Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods will also seek approval to send out a request for proposals for new grader blades.
Public comments and weekly commissioner reports will also be heard.
The meeting will begin at 9 am.
